Is God who we really think He is? How about you? Is He loving, compassionate and forgiving -- or full of wrath, vengeance, fire and brimstone? Or you have no clue. Well, hopefully after reviewing this site, you will have a better understanding of who He is.

Light and Darkness

     Do you know that plants are affected by sunlight and darkness? Consider the tulip, which to me is an amazing flower. When the sun is shining the tulip opens up and actually follows it. When it is night, the tulip is closed tightly. Why is that so? Well, sunshine is good and not only does it cause photosynthesis, but it also helps the plant to release a fragrance that brightness your day. When it is night, it is different. Plants release carbon dioxide instead of absorbing it.

     Could you believe that we are like plants. When we allow good, which is from God, to enter into our mind and body, there is a fragrance of self-lessness. When we allow darkness, which is from the evil one, A.K.A. the devil, there is a stench of selfishness. You know what, we all would chose the latter in a heartbeat, because we were born with a corrupt and wicked heart (Jeremiah 17:9. But there is hope, we can have a new heart, one that seeks after righteousness. (Ezekiel 36:25-27). 

     How much does it cost, you might ask? Well, it is free. Because God loves us so much, He gave His Son Jesus so that we could have that choice. (John 3:16) So before you chose Him (accept as personal Lord and Saviour), get to know about Him (His character), then know Him (personal relationship) as the one who gave Himself for you and I.
